I started casually collecting the Tiger Electronic Disney games, that were released in the 90s, earlier this summer. I was lucky to find a nicely priced lot that included Beauty & the Beast, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and Pocahontas. I just scooped up my second lot this afternoon that includes 101 Dalmatians, Snow White, and Aladdin. I enjoy playing simple games like Candy Crush and Panda Pop on my phone and I find the Tiger games to be on par in level of difficulty, so I fully intend to play with all of them.

Aww, those are so cool!! I especially like the art on the Little Mermaid & Lion King ones. Which happen to be two of my favorite films, though I'm an utter Disney fanatic and almost all the classics are favorites. x3 I've only got this one, and it's actually a different Dalmatians--didn't know they made more than one game per movie (or is it just another design? Looks like probably a different game!) Edit: Ohhhh, of course: Mine must have been released with the live-action movie, and yours is for the animated one! I guess I've always just ignored the fact that the puppies on the sides are actual photos (and the logo is the one for the Glenn Close movie), because the game itself felt more like the animated film. xD

Cool! Yep, that one is for the live action movie. I'm guessing it's a different game based on the background on yours. I don't recall my sister's dalmatian game looking like that.

^.^ I have always enjoyed the background. You play as an Airedale, running through the manor and scooping up puppies whilst avoiding/leaping over broken chairs, holes, rocks, eggs that Jasper & Horace throw as they try to swipe the pups following you, etc...and at the end of each level you shove the pups through a hole in the wall. At the very end, Captain the horse bucks Cruella and her two goons in the face. xD Also--you will never, ever get the little electronic tune that plays out of your memory. It will remain there for eternity.

^That's hilarious!^ And it sounds like tons of fun. I'll have to update you on the game play on mine when it arrives. For some reason I want to say that the animated one has them running away through the snow covered country side after they escape the manor...but it's been a looong time, so I might be wrong.
I was a master at The Little Mermaid when I was young. You swim Ariel along and move her up or down to collect treasures from the sea floor but you have to avoid Flotsam and Jetsam. If you touch them they electrocute you and you lose points. Some times you have to make Ariel jump above the surface to avoid them. I can't remember exactly what happens when you reach the end of the levels. I would guess she gets to leave the ocean. I just remember becoming really good and speedy at playing it.

Those both sound fun! Mine is, too...even though, yeah, it's fairly simplistic and repetitive, it's still an enjoyable game that doesn't go by TOO quickly, but also doesn't drag on forever mind-numbingly. I got to be really quick at it, as well. x3 Each consecutive level ups the challenge a bit by throwing more obstacles at you more quickly.

I had the Lion King one! I thought it was too hard so I didn't play it much. I'd be curious to see if I still think it's difficult.

I haven't tried out the Lion King game yet. I'm trying to master The Little Mermaid again before I move on to the others. I'll let you know how it goes when I start that one. I thought I'd link my little wishlist here in case anyone spots these at garage sales, flea markets, or thrift stores. I'll take any of them for $10 or less. The Jungle Book and Cinderella versions can be quite difficult to come by. Tiger Games Flickr Album

I've added The Hunchback of Notre Dame to my collection! And about a month ago the rare Cinderella game popped up on eBay. I was so excited and put in an initial bid on it, but I completely forgot to raise my high bid before the auction ended, so someone else snagged it for about $15 less than I would have bid. Such are the joys and pains of collecting though.

That STINKS about the Cinderella! :[ Hate it when that happens. But on the other hand, the HoND one is obviously awesome. I was just thinking about that movie this morning and how it's one of my Disney favorites.

I never even knew about these. They must have been more popular over in America than Britain. I'll check them out on ebay. I doubt I'll get any, but I've always been a little obsessed with The Little Mermaid, so maybe just that one. I suppose on a slightly related note, I collect Game Boy Games, all three types of them - Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advanced and they have some pretty good Disney Games in there too.

Thanks, Amy! Tiger produced a billion of these things. Every regular video game, sport, or popular movie was turned into one. I've been tempted to pick up the one of Jurassic Park. I think you have to outrun raptors. There's a really creepy looking one for Full House. I'd love to have the one for the movie Hook, though that one has gone up in price a lot since Robin Williams passed. Clover, here's the Polly Pocket one. Attachment DeletedMy Disney collection hasn't grown at all recently, but I have my eye on the Jungle Book and Rescuers games in an online UK video game store that I found. I've been more interested in expanding my IMP collection and spending my extra money on housewares for my apartment. Some day I'll pick them up.
