Yikes! Even for one this size with one figure, you think?

Yes, I think it has to be able to pass through a tool kinda like this to be billed as an envelope. With a single puppy, the envelope can't fit and it's classified as a package Sucks majorly. I could be wrong, so if anyone else knows more about sending overseas from the US, let me know. I just know I've had to pay that much

It's at least $13, even to ship 1. Mr suggestion is find everyone in the US who has ones you want, have them all shipped to 1 person, then just have 1 overseas package.

Over here to send to USA if the item including the packing is over 25mm high it has to go as a packet, if it is under that it is a large letter, the cost of a package is three times more. It used to be just done on weight, but now it is size then weight, which is worse for such a small thing. Some puppies do fit in the smaller size but others are just too chunky to manage.

Aw, MAN! I was just thinking it'd go by weight, and I might need a few more stamps or a few bucks or something. That seriously blows. But, I guess if Glitterbug can work it out to have everything sent to one person to combine into a single overseas shipment, it could be all right...

Actually I have a few that you need. I will list my for sale figures this weekend but will have a look through your list first and put them aside for you. I'll pm you.

Ack, for some reason I'm not getting Email notifications for this. Yes, it is expensive to ship sadly. I pay £18 per parcel over to the US which is insane. Thank you though, if Mary isn't found I do have another idea as my partner lives in the US I can always get items shipped to him.

It is true. I have a friend living in the USA. I live in the Netherlands. What Jenna told us about shippingcosts is exactly the same as my friend told me. That they see an envelope with a figure as a package! Ridicolous! Most Americans do have boxes to put mail in so what is the problem we have to deal with it

That is nonsense. Widen the envelope machines, honestly...if it'll fit in my mailbox without popping it open, it should only need extra stamps...-_- ;p

That is nonsense. Widen the envelope machines, honestly...if it'll fit in my mailbox without popping it open, it should only need extra stamps...-_- ;p I've often wondered if the UK will ever switch to mailboxes as you can get packages in there (Maybe not boxes but still). But then I wouldn't trust people not to go looking through and pinching my items. What is worse is the weight limits, to send a box over 2kg to the US would cost £60 via parcel force. However 2kg and under costs £14 (18 tracked) so it's easier just to send multiple flat rate boxes.

That would be a great idea. In more rural areas (like my house in northeast Pennsylvania), we've got the roadside boxes that tend to be larger and can fit bigger things. But even here you can stick larger envelopes and smaller boxes into the mailbox, which is right on the front porch, so nobody messes with it despite the area being a fairly crowded suburban region. And those limits--ack! £14 is like $20, which domestically would only be charged on very large items & orders. =/ Why must anything other than flat envelopes and paper items be made so tricky to send? Dx

Some places in towns in the US have "cluster boxes". It's usually about 12 mailboxes and 2 parcel lockers. All require a key. Each homeowner has a key to their mailbox and if a package comes that's too big for your box, it gets put into one of the parcel lockers with the key in your mailbox. Works pretty well and saves the mail carrier some walking.

That's not a bad idea for houses that are close enough together. L:
