If it helps at all, I had issues 1 and 3 of the comics when they first came out. The ginger comic kitty with the phone came with issue 1, and the black and white kitty on the bricks came with issue 3.

That's useful to know, it would seem that the comic had a random kitty on, so it may be that the first 3 issues had a random comic kitty on them, as issue 4 was a reissue and others seem to be only a specific kitty.
I think that helps a lot knowing what you had on those isssues. Thanks

So from my memory - granted this was 20+ years ago! - all issues 1 in my local newsagent had the telephone kitty, and all issues 3 had the bricks kitty. I definitely would have bought multiple copies if they had come with random kitty figures! I remember assuming at the time that the picture of the ginger cat and black and white cat respectively in the upper corner of the front covers were supposed to be the kitty that came with the issue.

On checking the featured cat in the corner of the comics Issue 1 was Holly 2 was Calico 3 was Max 4 was Sophie 5 was Teeny 6 was Theo
All the above are normal names for standard issues. So I don't think it was a name for the cat attached.
My comic 3 had the grey cat with red ball on it
7 was Jade (which was issued as a special with the comic)
Sadly they may of done different cats attached to comics in different areas, never in the comics did they mention about the different types of cats available.
There are 12 different comic cats, so it may be that the first 3 issues could of had one of 4 different cats on, as issue 4 was printed as having Sophie on it, I have one with it on, was the dark chocolate head version.
Not very nice if you wanted to collect them all having to buy 4 of each comic!
We get bits of information through so hopefully one day we can work out what happened?
Thanks
