I've only had a mild interest in the new rebooted Puppy in my Pocket, but since I discovered that they're coming out with blind bag puppies I've been increasingly interested! Anyone else? Some Walmart stores are carrying them now. Not mine though! The official Puppy in my Pocket Facebook page has been advertising them. www.facebook.com/puppyinmypocketUS?fref=ts

Oh, they're back! Yay! Sort of. Why can't they be at Target? The nearest Wal*Mart is kind of a pain to get to from here, and there's very rarely a reason to go since Target--practically the exact same place--is right in town. Lisa Frank's been doing the same thing (releasing products in specific stores only), but at least they're fairly spread out now with the few things they offer.
I do have a number of the "G2" puppies (plus a few ocean/jungle/farm animals), and I picked up a few blind-bag ones from Target a couple years back. After those disappeared, there were no more IMP toys to be found anywhere. I really hope there turns out to be a way to identify these prior to purchase, like the ponies, so you can choose the ones you want/need. x3 Looks as if they're the same set(s) as last time, which means I already have some.
And I just pinned a lot from their Pinterest, hehee. Personally, though, I was extremely disappointed with the cartoon show, which aired on Boomerang here a couple years ago as well. It wasn't at all what I was hoping for in a PiMP series (imagine an ongoing, somewhat more mature "soap opera" following the lives of the entire "class" of Pocketville High--featuring mostly characters from the *original* toy "cast!") The only way I could've been really disappointed in that case would be if they'd characterized my favorites drastically differently than I do, but still, it would have been an epic endeavor...

Ugh, I'm seriously considering collecting the G2 puppies! Too much stuff :/
I have the opposite problem, Walmart is the only big store in my town. And I haaaate Walmart! What a bummer.
I watched the first episode of the show, out of curiosity. It was pretty bad.

It is a biiiit of a problem. >p< Oh, that stinks; ya just can't win!
I actually stuck with the show 'til the end, hoping for a while that it'd get better, and that one character might show up who wasn't a completely cliche bore. Didn't happen. >.> By some point it was just like, "Well, I've made it this far, might as well see it through." xp

Still haven't been able to find any in my area! I'll try again this weekend. This video references the original line a couple times, and that there are those who still remember them fondly. I wonder if their research brought them here??

Wow, that's so cool!! I'm glad they are going back to the blind bags. I gotta say though, I'm not huge on the ultra rare glitter puppies XD

YES...yes, they are. I recognize all of the molds, and have pups made with a couple of them. Would like to find the Papillon. (And wish there were a pink Poodle as shown on the package, for my Poodle collection...x3)

I have seen the blind bags here in NY I think. I am happy to pick some up for you if I see them again. It seems that the blind bag thing is popular at the moment, with LPS, MLP, shopkins etc. (Which btw I am newly obsessed with shopkins although trying to resist). These barbie pups DO look similar. Are they flocked as well?

Those "Barbie" pups look precisely like flocked G2 PiMPs rebranded/stuck in a different box. I now have most of the MLP blind bags...but instead of releasing a 13th wave, they appear to have given those a rest and instead put out a set of "Apple Family" minis. They're a little more focused on the Equestria Girls right now, it seems, what with the third movie for that in the works. I did notice that the Shopkins were quite cute, too. ;p

I did notice that about the Apple Families. I kept looking for others in the series but haven't seen anything. They are really cute though. I didn't know about the movie.
The shopkins are really cute. I made a few purchases of the Food Fair sets that were on sale at the local craft store. I picked up the Fast Food, Cool and Creamy, Cupcake Collection, and Fridge Playset. The mini eggs ones are really just adorable. This series is really addicting once you start.

Yeah, I've been seeing the Apples getting sold on eBay just like blind bags, but I'll hold off and see how much they are at the store (hopefully Target) first. I'm assuming they're about the same size, but some of the poses look really weird without the little props they're supposed to come with. I wish they were sold as a full set. >w<
Awww...I saw a little store playset that was really cute. I suppose I could consider picking up a few of the little groceries-with-faces, now that my shot glass shelf could do with some filling in thanks to the new IMP shelves...x-3 I have always had a weird thing for plastic representations of food.
