Oh, haha! I actually bid on the horse and puppy sets, but I didn't want to go too high. Congrats on your wins. One of the things that held me back from bidding higher was that I too was unsure as to whether or not I should open them. I do have all the puppies so I would have kept them in their package. If you would really like to open them, keep the backcards! Some people may suggest that you should keep them in their package and acquire loose ones later, but it's really up to you. The cat set in its package brings back memories! That was one of my firsts. My mom had me pick out a present from her 'save-for-Christmas' stash for my friend's birthday party, and the kitty set was one of them. I'm so glad I asked my mother if I could keep them for myself!

Not gonna lie.. I wouldn't be able to contain myself. I'd rip that open, the second it arrived. I think its up to you, do you plan on reselling your collection someday? I collect for myself, whatever happens to them when I'm long gone, happens. I don't plan on reselling ever again. Which is why I continue an old tradition my dad used to do for me, I laminate the cards. Now I know that's not something anyone who plans on reselling should do. I just love the way they look. I have some from my childhood that still look brand new. Congrats on your new additions! Let us know what you've decided to do!

Nice! I considered bidding on that if no one else did.
I think I've gotten two sets still in the packaged, and I opened both up. I think some collectors would be scandalized, but not me!
