That is really disappointing, but like you said, not too surprising. Sigh. I know we aren’t the target demographic, so we probably wouldn’t have a lot of pull with stores, unfortunately.
Maybe we could hope for, like, a special retro collectors edition release? Like they do with Monster High and American Girl and Barbie brands. I’m not sure how likely that would be (maybe it only works for larger IP), but maybe we could drop a little hint to IMP for it. That would be nice for the collectors and life-long fans of the brand.

All I'm gonna say as much as a new 90s puppies would be amazing it will keep the eBay prices down at least over here in the UK

I also thought about that recently. I wonder if a revival would make the actually vintage puppies go up in price. Probably. :/

That's so disappointing to hear. Interesting point about new retro figures pushing up prices. At least it gives those of us with originals still to collect, the chance to do it while they're still reasonably priced. As @edwardsinsane mentioned it would be nice for collectors and life long fans to have something new to collect. Something like some new breeds and maybe even re-releases of some would be nice. I guess there just aren't enough of us to make this something that would be considered a worthwhile exercise, plus kids now just don't like the same things we did unless it's something interactive based.
