I'm really loving the variety of breeds... I think they did a great job of spacing them out too. I also think I discovered a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever one! As a Canadian and personal lover of the breed, I was beyond delighted XD I would love your help trying to identify some of the breeds of snubbies I've gotten that have no information attached to them Deseo's site is wonderful!! I believe they are the same Deseo we have as a member, if I'm not mistaken?

Oh! I guess I haven't met him/her yet! It's a Finnish site, right? I was figuring out what certain words must mean as I kept encountering them throughout the categories of figures, haha. There was a whole big section of doggies (in tons of breeds, including NSDTRs!), which appeared to be handmade out of felt. I thought they were the site owner's handiwork. So many gorgeous ones!! It is an awesome site, and the variety of Snubbies is really great. I'd be glad to look at the ones that lack identification and take a stab at their breeds.

I would be happy to try to identify some breeds for you. I have also some old pictures (copied from ebay) with series 2 & 3 doggies, at least I believe they are from those series. Maybe I'll post them here also? Clover: Wow, did you browse trough all my site. That must have taken a good time! It is so nice to hear you enjoyed

Hey Emilia!! I'm glad I was right! I would love to see the pictures you have. I have purchased a small lot off ebay that is shipping with a pamphlet display the full 3rd series of snubbies! I am excited to see that. Piddy has very sweetly helped me get some mint in package snubbies I've never seen before!! The pamphlet I am getting showed one of the dogs from these packs, so these must be Series 3! Here are my two favourites (they are shipping right now): The second one in looks like a duck tolling retriever to me! Here's a pic I found of some of them out of the packaging (Not the duck tolling one though!):

Ohh! Wow, what a find! Piddy is very sweet helping you to find these treasures <3 Definitely a duck tolling retriever, so lovely. On the Anik-picture, maybe they could be 1st row: skye terrier, shetland sheepdog, foxterrier, ?, shar pei, papillon or chihuahua, bloodhound, scottish terrier (weird color), akita? 2nd row: shih tzu, staffi, bichon frise, shiba?, german or belgian shepherd, doberman, ?, ? 3rd row: schnauzer?, longhaired weimaraner, labrador, terrier?, ? , border collie, great dane, pug Here is some pictures I've found Internet, those with blue stars are from series 1. In this first pic there is also some dogs from series1 and many doubles. Here is a duck tolling retriever

Wow Emilia! I'm going to try to tally all these guys up... Maybe they released even more than 3 series? It looks like a ton!! I recall buying 3 of the families all at once on clearance, so I don't think they stayed around here for too long! Thanks for all of your help, Emilia! EDIT: I compiled all of those photos into on large document. I count 86 different snubbies, not including the first collection! I also discovered some 101 dalmatian snubbies I also read on a forum elsewhere there is a Legally Blonde chihuahua snubbie.

Holy cow, that's a lotta Snubbies! I hope a picture of the Bruiser (Legally Blonde) one surfaces eventually. ^^ Those guesses seem pretty good to me...a number of them are tricky. Or look like mixed breeds from here, despite the "no mutts" commercial jingle. First row: #2 is probably a Sheltie but could also be a Collie, I suppose; #4 kinda says Jack Russell, but the ears are throwing me off; #6 is hard; maaaaybe supposed to be a powerpuff Crested or something? #8 does look like probably a really intensely-colored wheaten Scottie... Second row: #5 made me think Great Dane first. #6, I'd guess Dobie or Min-Pin. The last two look like some sorts of terriers, but it's difficult to say which...maybe Cairn for the last one? Third row: #2, English Setter?? #4--Lakeland or Soft-Coated Wheaten terrier? #5--oh, gosh...Kelpie???

these are great guesses from both of you! I agree with you guys. The hardest thing with snubbies in my opinion is its difficult to differentiate between the large and small breeds since they made them all the same size . For the longest time i thought the podenco canario one was a chihuahua bahaha.
I should be able to identify a chunk of the breeds once that pamphlet comes. Even more if the mint in package ones are from a different collection, but they are in a different language xD
This is fun. Love that one you posted emilia. The one that looks like a french bulldog (to me). You are both very breed savvy holy cow xD

:-} Yeah, especially when you can't actually hold them and examine from all angles, they remind me of the newer PiMPs in the sense that it can sometimes be hard to tell which breed they were aiming for. All of them being the same size certainly doesn't help with that, and as with the new Littlest Pet Shops, the large heads resulted in many of the bodies having fewer distinguishing details. I think the original PiMPs are the easiest to just look at and immediately tell what most of them are.

Hey Deseo, can I add your site to the links section? It's great! Ofcourse you can. It's nice to hear you all like it Oh, so many! It definitely feels like there is more than 3 series. Or maybe there was great many sets with special doggies or something, but still. So many! I've never heard of 101-dalmatian or Blonde chihuahua snubbies before. Very interesting. Sorsha, maybe you could post a pic of those pamphlets here when you get them? I would really love to see them

Oh I will post them, don't you worry! I won't keep you in the dark On the topic of 101 dalmatian snubbies... I received this in the mail today: It was listed as coming with the Firehouse Playset, but clearly it did not! It definitely is the Snubbies style so I think they did happen! I did end up making a website to help document them, but it's not done yet >,<' Also here are three names for some of the unnamed snubbies: EDIT: here's the site ^^; snubbiestoycollection.weebly.com/Also, feast your eyes on the 101 dalmatians snubbies

Awesome! Another great collection site...! So far my favorites are Sadie, Rio, Taffy, Bailey, Gypsey [sic], Coco, & Jackson. Cute names they have! I'm so confused about Bentley, though--a wheaten Kerry Blue? xD (Reminds me of some of the PiMP recolors, such as Glib the grey-and-white Bernese Mountain Dog.) And the Beagle families, awww! And the playsets are adorable. I especially like the hot dog place and the mansion. Its bone-shaped pool accessory reminds me strongly of a bone-shaped soap dish thing I had, which had come with my Rub-a-Dub Doggie toy from the 80s (I had the one named Princess.) I used the dish/bowl as a bed for my Scuffy the tugboat figure, and later for my Lisa Frank Casey (the Golden Retriever) key chain. Too bad I can't find anything about the Bruiser one that apparently existed.

lololol poor Bentley... They must have either gotten the breed mixed up- maybe he was meant to be a soft coated wheaten terrier? Or my other thought is after the mould was made, they decided the creamy colour was more fitting with their style or something. Rio is probably my favourite so far. I love her name (Duran Duran?) and her look. I always laugh at the name Schlupy. What the heck is that??
I really love the playsets. I really like the Cottage for some reason. I also love that Gigi had a variant and variant playset! So cool.
Fear not! I couldn't find anything on the 101 dalmatians at first either! I'm sure we'll see him eventually. One of the biggest issues with searching for snubbies though is you get a lot of firearm results lol!
