The Dalmatian set!! Oh, that is so cool! I really like Shadow, the half-and-half. He looks like a black-and-white cookie. XD
Zooming in on the blurry picture, I think I can make out...Rottweiler, Coton de Tulear, Shar Pei or Chow Chow (named Jade), French Bulldog, Basset, Beagle, some sort of Sheepdog, another Skye Terrier, Labrador, Husky, Pekingese, Boxer, Bichon Frise, Maltese, Stafforshire Bull Terrier, & Bulldog. I *think*. Thought that one said American Greyhound, though I wasn't aware of a distinction between an American one and the regular Greyhound.

That's really interesting
As per usual, my attention is drawn by the horsies (facepalm).
From Deseo's leaflet their names seem to be Biscuit (Andalusian), Willow (Paint Horse), Bullet (Mustang), Blossom (Clydesdale), Butterscotch (Trakehner), Chestnut (Tennessee Walking Horse), Twiggy (Missouri Fox Trotter), Sunshine (Quarter Horse), Gidget (Appaloosa) and Trigger? (Palomino).
Which, generally speaking, is actually rather disappointing: for a company that has shown it's interesting in making models of rare breeds, all of those (perhaps with the exception of the MFT, though that's not 'rare') are extremely common. Seriously, all they need to add is an Arabian, a Thoroughbred and a Shetland Pony and they'd have the most common horse breeds on the planet. I dunno: maybe they were planning to make more but they didn't sell well with those freakish heads, so the horsies line was scrapped? Either way, it's a shame not to see some rare and endangered breeds like the Suffolk Punch, Timor Pony, Java Pony and the Abaco Barb in there. Of course, I realise this isn't necessarily the complete list of all their horsies models, it's just a shame to see so many common breeds. Ok, rant over
Anyway, I've done my best to match up the images on the leaflet with these photos of 4 of the horsies on Ron's Rescued Treasures. Again, no guarantee these are the models on the leaflet. Most likely Biscuit Probably Sunshine Almost certainly Willow Probably Twiggy or Chestnut

Id agree they are very commonly known. though arguably unless you are a horse fancier people tend to not know any breed of horse (ive taught my boyfriend so much ahaha).
I find that the horsies and later series of snubbies (maybe even the kitties) were mostly more well known breeds. This brand did fall off the map quite suddenly so i feel like they were hoping to gain more interest by using more well-known breeds. They even started reusing a lot of breeds! Even with the same likeness (the two smooth fox terriers look identical!).

^ Yeah...I too noticed that the horses, unlike the dogs, were a standard assortment of breeds...and that the second Smooth Fox looked just like the first. I don't know who was in charge of designing Snubbies, but they were rather odd, hahah. You're probably right that the line wasn't selling as well as hoped, so they resorted to using some more common animals that people would recognize...

Whew I'm still around I have updated the site a ton today- added all of Collection III, with birth dates and numbers. I realized that all snubbies have a number stamped at the bottom. Using some doubles, I confirmed that the numbers match and are unique to each snubbie (at least snubbie dogs, not sure how kitties, horsies and puppies (families) fit into that)! However, the numbers do not go in order of release... Sophie the Komondor from Collection I is number 1, but then Pepper the Shepherd from Collection III is number 5! The highest number I've come across so far has been 127.

How interesting! Those are definitely snubbies moulds- I recognize most of them. So they've either been painted over or they are fakies. Really cool find, thanks Sara

Isn't that curious...they definitely do look as though they're (for some reason) repainted Snubbies, huh?

Yeah, it's peculiar. I'm curious of them, I'll admit ahah Also, I just received those collection II sets I spoke of before. I think they have some of the neatest breeds in this one! I really think you'll like it, Clover. I'll list some of the odd ones: Belgian Griffon, Coton de Tulear (you were right!! ), Central Asian Sheepdog, Bruno Jura Lauffhuni (Laufhund?? Idk that's how it is on the package), Kyileo, Mexican Hairless, /Belgian/Tervuren (One of my favourite dog breeds ), Portuguese Water Dog, Corded Poodle, Canary Dog, Lowchen and that one we thought said American Greyhound is actually an American STAGhound! Very exciting stuff. I'll post a pic later and update the site with all the new info!
