I used to love the blind bag doggies (and cats, but I always went with the dogs for some reason) - but at the time I was too into LEGO to really spend any big money on it. I still have some, because I loved stuffing my doll house with dogs, haha.
Here's my Puppies in my pocket. I had my dad remove the ball from Lucky, because I absolutely haaaated when they had things attached. My sister only bought one - once - and got the shar pei with the book. She stopped at that and I don't blame her, haha I dreaded getting him.
The black german shepherd in the corner was a pup my mom bought for me in a, uhmm, I think sewing shop. She was there to buy some fabric or something and they had a shelf with some smaller toys. I begged her for that one and a little seal, which I also still have.
The kitten I think is from LPS? I found it in my neighbours driveway, (they had kids younger than me) and being the low morale scoundrel I was, I kept it, ha ha!
The black terrier I'm not sure, maybe it's from Puppy IMP? I don't think so. The dalmatian and the spaniel are from the same place, and possibly the schnauzer and scarfy-pup too. They're more soft and rubbery in texture atleast on the dalmation and spaniel, the breed name is listed on their undersides. Those two look absolutely great in my dollhouse, due to their size, texture and realness.
The scarfy pup I can't remember where he is from, but his name was listed as Shogun.
The husky, possibly LPT? It was given to me by someone who lived a few streets away from me as a kid.
Another picture of the lot
The pink one is actually my sister's but we kept both these in my dollhouse. I think they are from the same series as the spaniel and dalmation. They are of the same texture and have their breed name written on their bellies.
Very nicely painted.
These were possibly some of the latest one I bought, I think? Not sure. Either way, I'm missing some bottles, but whatever, haha. Didn't even remember they had bottles until I saw their mouths. I had one hidden away in my dollhouse stuff.
I think I named them Beethoven, Rago, Lizzy and Missy or something, haha.
My sister and I bought these on holiday in Sweden I think. Don't remember the brand, LPT perhaps? Mine was the turquise one, but I actually traded her both for her Diddle mouse, hahaha. Not sure if I regret. While I always thought the cages were ADORABLE, like oh my GOD they are so cute and well made, I never actually played much with it. Her Diddle mouse, on the other hand, one of my most played-with stuff animals probably. Anyway, it was still sitting in my dollhouse.
They still got most their fur because we hardly touched them, seeing as they weren't really that "playable" if you know what I mean.
But oh LORD oh adorable.
Then we have these things. Can't remember the brand, pound puppies? Man, I don't remember. I might be missing one, (they came in a set I think), because I find 7 to be a weird number for a set, but oh well.
I remember my mom buying these for us. Very cute but not really for playing, I guess. We shoved them into various places in the dollhouse, haha.
Probably my most loved set. I still remember nagging my grandmother for this, I even remember where in the toy store it was placed, lmao.
They were called Heidid and Fritz here. I had my dad cut off the shoe from the puppy because, well you know. I wanted free play. You can see they've been played a lot with, haha.
I still have the door and the book for them it's over at my dad's house still. Not sure why I didn't bring it but oh well.
I think Fritz was my favourite to play with out of everyone, (forward-facing-standing-up german shepherd. perfect!)
Anyway, hope you enjoyed these photos.
