Hey there, fellow 33-y/o! (Even though I've felt about 16 since I was 16.) Cool summary, & we seem to have some things in common. Man, if I could get back all the precious stuff that my mom ever gave away (and worse, somehow manipulated me into agreeing to do so--what was I thinking...!) I mean, as it is I've retained so much from childhood and continue to be a collector by nature, so when I move (hopefully kinda soonish) I'm totally gonna need a gigantic "she-shed" to turn into a "sheseum" of just infinite awesomeness. xD I've recently obtained a niece and step-niece/nephew thanks to one of my brothers. Hopefully the niece will share my exceptional tastes; the step-one already does (even attempting to steal a couple of my plushies on her first visit...gah, nightmare!) Had my first dream dog from 2006-2018; she was a Saluki, and earned her Championship in the show ring. I've got a list of other favorite breeds I'd love to get next...and fish, my other favorite animals. x-) Polly Pocket is my favorite toy line after IMP; still have around 20 of my originals but also had 40-something more that my parents gave to some family friend's kid when I got older. They were all so very dear to me though. ;; And then going through OnlyPollyPocket.com, pinning all the pics, I discovered an additional 100+ I wish I could've had too. My mom's gotten me a few of the newer ones as gifts (including the Giggle McDimples police station from Toy Story 4.) They're mostly cute, and she did pick the best ones most worth having, but still not the same. Hi clover!! Pah... you’re lucky... I’ve hardly got anything from my childhood (toy wise). In theory I’ve got a chest full of stuffed toys that I wouldn’t have given up even with a gun to my head 🤣 “Sheseum”... love this!!!! I have been promised a shelf/set up for my collection... he’s a good egg! Also I think he’s worried I’m going to let my kids play with them (they do not need more toys!!) and they will get lost. But that’s not going to happen! If they’re lucky they might get some of the extras 😏 Salukis are gorgeous! My first dog was a cavalier King Charles... then a lab x collie then a chihuahua. All three are amazing! I would have loved to show but it never happened! One day!!

Haha! I know, as much as I miss tons of other stuff, and as truly unforgivable as some of it was to give away...I really am fortunate to still have so much else and so many collections. ^v^ *gasp* Gotta keep 'em protected! I want other people, including kids, to admire my stuff as much as I do...in a hands-off kinda way...^^'' They are my #1 favorite breed! *0* I'm just an all-around animal lover, always had all kinds of different pets--except for a cat, no kitty yet. ;; Wanted to be a junior handler but didn't get into it until I was older. That kind of organized activity just wouldn't have been convenient for the family. Ah well. Oh, that's a great assortment! We had a bunch, all with their own, eh, interesting stories & personalities (which generally applies to all types of animals xD)--two Beagles, mini Schnauzer, Maltese, Bloodhound, Great Dane/Mastiff cross, Brittany, the 'luki...& then the current third Beagle & "Bernese Golden Mountain Retriever." x3

What you collect:
The baby wild animals!
How long you've been collecting:
I fiercly collected in 1997 when I was about 7 years old. After a few months however the local bookstore in my village stopped selling them. I remember I was devastated. My father took the effort to contact the factory and ordered 2 packs. He gave them to me at Sinterklaas (A dutch version of christmass) I was so happy when I unwrapped the boxes! But when I started opening them I was very disappointed of course that of course I got many doubles. I knew no one else who collected them and there was no way to buy them. I was sad for months as I knew there was no chance to get them complete anymore (I was a strange kid ;p). I think I have been looking for these figures till I was about 15 years old, but I had never been able to find a single figure (and also no one who even knew what I was talking about ;p). I did not really know their real name (I called them special animal friends) and did not speak english so was constraind to the Dutch internet. So I gave it up. However now I was moving I paid attention to them again and started searching the internet. To my surprise I find an active forum dedicated to this subject. So now hope glooms (7 year old me would be so happy ). So now in 2021 I will start collecting again.
Long story short... I have been collecting from 1997 to 2005 and now I start again in 2021.
Favorite figure:
The first one I got! Reynard the fox
Anything else about yourself:
I studies mathematics so looking back I now realize that since I was not able to trade with anyone, I statistically speaking I would have needed to buy around 1200 packages to get my collection complete. My disappointment was kind of unavoidable ;p

Hello! I'm happy to have found this forum. Looking forward to learning more about IMP and to expand my collection.
Name/Screenname: Sacha/EdwardInsane What you collect: Puppy in My Pocket (single puppies). I might branch out to Kitty In My Pocket when I get all the puppies I'm interested in. How long you've been collecting: My collection is from my childhood during the original release in the the mid 90s. Recently I decided to look for the puppies I'm missing from my original collection. Favorite figure: Jemma (#6). I tragically lost her in the bush at my Mom's house when I was a kid and have been devastated ever since. Lol. Until recently, because I just got her! Anything else about yourself: My childhood collection included all the series 1 and 2 Puppies, all the series 1 Kitties, all the series 1 Ponies, and a lot of the family releases. Unfortunately, all of my kitties and families are gone after I gave them to my niece years ago (she was not as careful with her toys as I was). And I've lost quite a few of the ponies as well. But of the puppies I had as a kid, I'm only missing 6 of them. I think the puppies were easily my favorite toy growing up. That and American Girl Dolls, which I also collect!

Hi everyone, so my screen name is cookie but real name is Sarah.
I am just here to try and find some information. I had to unfortunately clear my parents house and found my childhood collection of different puppy in my pocket and other 90s toys.
If there is anyone who would be able to help me value some of my collection i would appreciate it 100%. I will be keeping some but the majority have to be sold as i dont have space.
Im located in south Wales, UK

Welcome!! I would be happy to help you sell your collection.
Unfortunately there's not a huge market for Puppy in my Pocket. I generally sell mine for around $1 each. I would suggest selling in smaller lots (maybe 10 or so figures each). Families and later numbered puppies are more sought after and can be sold for a little more. Cards and accessorie are a great bonus.
Feel free to send me pictures if you have any questions!

Realised I should finally introduce myself!!
Name/Screenname: bennybee What you collect: Mainly kitties and puppies but looking at other bits like bunnies and baby surprise on the side. How long you've been collecting: I first started when I was about 9 back in the mid 90s! But rediscovered my collection in 2021 during a long period off sick from work, and organising my collection and focusing on properly collecting helped me feel better. But I also realised just how small my original collection was and how many I was missing!! I’ve been building up slowly since then. Still missing some of the trickier ones so I’ll continue to hunt. Getting hold of all of the Series 3 kitties would make my year! Favorite figure: Rufus as he was my first ever In My Pocket figure! Anything else about yourself: I have five (real) cats at home, who are a handful! I love DIY, fantasy books, ancient history, and board games.

What you collect:all!! How long you've been collecting: started when I was 6 years old when they first came out. Been hanging on to my original collection for years and started to collect again few years ago. Just got back into it again a few months ago. Favorite figure: Rolo and Zsa Zsa. I know they are not unique dogs but I played with them the most as a kid.
Anything else about yourself:I have 3 cats, a dog and a lizard. Husband collects vintage gas pumps and garage items so we go thrifting/antiquing almost every weekend. Been very useful to help me toy collect again. I also collect other 80s and 90s toys
